Outdoor Education

We are blessed to be located next to the Jackson Audubon Society's Kate Palmer Sanctuary, where our upper grade students can study the creek, wetlands, natural wild flowers and birds. In the spring, they guide our younger grades through the sanctuary to enjoy the fields of trillium in bloom.

Most recently Mr. Clint Genthner (Grades 5-6) completed a grant which created an outdoor classroom, trails, an apple orchard, and tree identification pieces throughout the sanctuary.
